This class structure has been incredibly successful for us and this is by far the most popular class at every race.
Realistic looks, manageable speeds, and close competition all contribute to the runaway success of this class.
Typically, racers of all ability levels (beyond Novice) are run together with pre-sorts and re-sorts keeping like drivers grouped together. An Intermediate level may be run at the Race Director's discretion depending on demand.

The simplified version:
- Any 1/10 scale 2WD SCT chassis
- Full-fendered SCT bodies conforming to existing ROAR SCT rules
- SCT-specific 2.2/3.0 wheels and tires (NO 1/8th scale or other dish wheels)
- Any ROAR approved 1/10 scale Stock (17.5/27T) electric motor
- Any ROAR approved 2S (7.4V) lipo, 6-cell (7.2V) NiMH battery pack
NOTE: The 12T Titan RTR motor is legal for this class at non-ROAR-sanctioned events.
