RCGT NASTRUCK Stock Touring Car

The idea behind this class is to have a relatively simple, fun oval class that a lot of us on-road racers could run with touring car chassis we already have instead of having to get oval-specific gear.

Basically take your stock touring car or RCGT car, slap on a NASTRUCK body, and go.

NASTRUCK Stock Touring Car

Chassis: any 1/10 scale AWD touring car

Motor: 17.5 brushless or 27T brushed

Battery: 6-cell or 7.4V lipo

Body: HPI NASTRUCK body (#7050 Dodge Ram, #7051 Ford F150, #7401 Chevy Silverado)
Kit-supplied spoiler ONLY. NO ADDITIONAL AERODYNAMIC AIDS ALLOWED!
These are 200mm bodies. You may use offset wheels to compensate if you choose.

There are some other suitable bodies out there (e.g. Tamiya F150 Flareside) that will be accepted.

Tires: any rubber touring car tire

Minimum Weight: 1450g

Any chance there might be some leeway on body manufacturer? Variety is the spice of life, and I already have a McCallister body. It's a Ford if that helps, Pete.

its no problem at all to run the mcallister, i think since the hpi's specifically say "fit touring car" is why we went that route as we werent sure if the mcallisters were pan car only...so if it fits then by all mean use it so you dont have to buy another one

Yeah, in the spirit of the class I would say if you have it, run it.

If you have to buy a new body anyway, get one of the HPI ones. They're very realistic, and they fit TCs.

Hey Pete, Check out my new NASTRUCK or should i say SLASHTRUCK. Are we going to have a 12 turn bushing motor class? Every one i have talked to said these things are stupid fast.

Is there anything Slashes can't do? I have sold all my cars and will race Slash only. Mine is so hooked up with RP-36's and a fresh motor. Ultimate budget racer.
